I would appreciate your help in adding a WWB-COM macros to my trusty Statistica 12.3 Base BX program that I bought from you in 2013 . It has served me well, and continues to do so, helping me improving my lifestyle with its usage, so at 89 I continue to be relatively healthy. However, to significantly improve my analysis, I would need to have access to the capabilities of the full range of Macro options to do looping and time shifts of regression ridge analysis. Would it be possible to purchase this module to add to my 12.3 Base capabilities please? Kind regards, Ian

To answer Ian's question:
To add WWB-COM macros to your Statistica 12.3 Base, you will first need to check if your version supports customization and running macros, as some base versions may have limitations. Normally, you could look for the following steps to download and install the macros:
Visit the Statistica website or the vendor from whom you originally purchased the software. They may have a support section where you can download additional modules or updates.
Check for available downloads. If WWB-COM macros are available, they may be listed in the download section or under additional resources.
Confirm the compatibility of the macros with your version. Make sure that the macros you intend to download are compatible with Statistica 12.3 Base.
Purchase or download the add-ons. If the macros are a paid module, you might need to purchase them. Otherwise, if they are freely available to existing users, you should be able to download them directly.
Follow installation instructions. Once downloaded, follow any provided installation instructions to integrate them into your Statistica software.
If you're unable to find the resources online, contacting the support team or customer service of the original vendor might provide more direct assistance.
At Polytechnic Montréal (engineering faculty) we have statistica licence. I can perform DOE and Neural analysis but still not able to get response optimizer (such as with Minitab) to get independant variable settings for a proposed dependant variable. Thanks for your support. Jean-Paul Lemarquis

To address your question about using STATISTICA for response optimization with DOE analysis and neural modeling, you may need to follow these steps:
DOE Analysis: Ensure that you have performed a thorough Design of Experiments analysis within STATISTICA. This typically involves creating an experimental design, conducting the experiments, and entering the response data into the software.
Neural Network Modeling: After DOE, develop a neural network model using the data you've collected. This step involves training the neural network to understand the relationship between your independent variables (factors) and the dependent variable (response).
Optimization:
Unfortunately, STATISTICA may not have a direct "Response Optimizer" feature equivalent to Minitab. However, you can use its "What-If Analysis," "Simulated Annealing," or "Genetic Algorithms" within the neural networks toolbox or other model optimizing modules to achieve a similar outcome.
You may need to manually adjust the independent variables to see how changes influence the response, using simulation and the neural model's prediction capabilities to guide you.
Seek Additional Resources: If you are not able to find a direct response optimizer, consider reaching out to Statistica technical support or leveraging online communities and forums where users of the software may have shared workarounds or scripts.
Make sure you have the correct licenses and modules active in STATISTICA to access all necessary features. If you require more specific guidance, consulting the software's documentation or support services will be helpful.
I'm using version 12, but I can't find the option to perform post hoc, thanks.

To perform Dunn's post hoc test after a Kruskal-Wallis analysis in STATISTICA version 12, follow these steps:
Run the Kruskal-Wallis test: Navigate to Statistics > Nonparametrics > Kruskal-Wallis Test. Input your data in the appropriate fields to perform the test.
Access Post Hoc options: After running the Kruskal-Wallis test, look for an option or a button labeled Post Hoc Tests in the results window or while setting up the procedure. STATISTICA might have a slightly different interface, so while it's supposed to offer post hoc tests, the location of these options may vary.
Select Dunn's Test: In the Post Hoc Tests dialog, if available, select Dunn's Test or a similarly named option to perform the test.
If you cannot find it within the software, consider checking the help documentation specific to version 12 or contacting StatSoft support for further assistance, as the exact procedure can vary depending on software updates and version specifics.
According to the user guide provided by Dell, STATISTICA isn't running on Windows 10. Theoperating systems listed as compatible are Windows VIsta, Windows 7 and Windows 8. However, I see that the latest version was released in Oct. 14, 2015 and Windows 10 was already released at that time which means it should be possible to run it even if it's Windows 10.
STATISTICA will run only in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2008. You will need to install Windows via Bootcamp to be able to have this software running on a Mac computer.
The program is compatible with Windows 8 but you will need to download the latest version (12) for this to work. You can check the information provided above at the official website where it is stated that Statistica is compatible with Windows 8.

I have an error when installing the Statistica 12: "Automatic registration could not be completed". The registration file you submitted does not appear to be valid.

Every problem related to the licence activation needs to be addressed to the official developer. The problem is related to its validity and the only one who can fix this problem is the developer or the support team dispatched for this kind of situations. This product is developed by DeLL which means you will need to log-in on the support page in order to get in touch with them. There is no problem with the software if you receive the message above. That means the software is working right and can use the activation servers.

You should contact the developer to get an extended trial usage of Statistica.
According to the following official compatibility website, the version 7 of the software isn't compatible with Windows 8 OS. However, it seems that the version 12 is the only version that can be run on that operating system. To obtain a download link for the version mentioned, you can visit the Software Informer's application page and click the Download button that is situated under the program's name.
